The Automobile Adaptive Equipment program issues grants when qualified veterans purchase vehicles which require driving modifications. Additionally, the adaptive equipment is covered at no cost to the veteran.
For passenger veterans, modifications include equipment that provides access to the vehicle as well as secure restraint systems while riding in the vehicle.
For veterans who drive or wish to drive, our modifications include a multitude of different hand controls as well as vehicle modifications which include remote control door openers, wheelchair and scooter lifts, chair tie-downs, and specialty touch controls such as turn signals, wipers, washers, horn, lights, etc.
